When we were in NY last, we played at Piano’s and had the extreme honor of being shot by legendary rock photographer Eugene Merinov. If you don’t know who he is, check out some photos he took of tons of crazy bands back during the birth of punk.

This summer, our touring adventures brought us to a little town outside of Nashville called Liberty, Tennessee. What makes Liberty worth stopping in, aside from being a beautiful, green, lush foresty mountainy landscape ripe with deer and chiggers and Chick Tracts are a few friends we have there- Benjy, Rya and Layard.
Benjy Russell is probably our favorite artist. He is a photographer who is constantly making work that blows us away. Since we also love ourselves a lot, we really love it when Benjy takes pictures of us. Here are some pictures he took of us while we were there at his house. Hope you enjoy them!

Tour was amazing, etc, etc. We kept the Twitter updated, and there’s all sorts of pictures of us getting buff and spitting everywhere on it. Neil and Aaron Anavan took tons of pictures, too, and we will get around to posting them soon.
We are finding stuff that was written about us on the road, and even finding bootleg recordings of sets and videos. Here is a video from our new friend Edgar, taken at the Beauty Bar in Austin, TX show.
While in Tennessee, we stayed with our dear friends Benjy and Rya and Layard and Benjy took some photos for us. He is Dazzler’s favorite contemporary artist and it’s always an immense pleasure to work with him. Those pictures are coming soon, too.
Now we are home, and we are working on some new tunes. We are playing in San Pedro on September 19th at the Lobsterfest, and we couldn’t be more excited. Rock and roll and fucking lobsters! Hope to see you there!
